The Viaduct, Monsal Dale, Derbyshire (Steam Train) (NT2)

The Mosal Dale Viaduct, here seen c. 1908 with a train from the Midland Railway company line steeming over it. Built int the 1850s, the viaduct - now an intrinsic part of the view - aroused considerable wrath when it was built, not least from the eminent writer and critic, Ruskin.
